What it costs
You can use ShareISDN free of charge for a period of 30 days. After that,
you must buy a license or cease to use the product.
There are three different kinds of licenses possible:
| 1. | 5 client computer license | Euro 26,18 | |||

| 3. | Unlimited license | Euro 78,54 | |||
Value-added tax (VAT) included.
Orders from outside of Germany or by credit card: There is an additional
order service fee.
Please use the actual exchange rate if
you pay in US$.
Only 3.) allows the "All clients are accepted" feature. If you
choose 1.) or 2.), you must know the IP-Numbers or at least the names
of the 5 or 10 client computers. A license key is valid for one ShareISDN
Server and 5, 10 or any amount of ShareISDN Clients, depending on the
kind of License Key.

All copyrights to ShareISDN are exclusively owned by active elements GmbH.
Anyone may use this software during a test period of 30 days. Following this test period of 30 days or less, if you wish to continue to use ShareISDN, you MUST register. One License Key is valid only for one ShareISDN Server installation.
The ShareISDN unregistered shareware version may be freely distributed, provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or company may charge a fee for the distribution of ShareISDN without written permission from the copyright holder.
ShareISDN IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. active elements Internet & Software GmbH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE.

Restrictions:
ShareISDN supports all recent Windows operating systems.
However, starting with Windows Vista and higher a number of limitations occur:
Client: It is not possible to set up an Internet connection without using a third party product.
Windows asks for elevation of a "legacy control panel applet" while opening the ShareISDN control panel applet. Please confirm this with "Yes".
On 64 Bit systems the ShareISDN control panel icon is not shown in the Control Panel. Please click on "View 32-bit Control Panel Items".
These restrictions do not have any influence on the core functionality of our Remote Capi. It is currently unknown if or when any of them will be fixed.
Upgrade:
Please write down the settings, and uninstall the previous version before upgrading. Have your license key at hand.
